Finally...

It's on. The cast is on her leg. This morning we took Kate in for her "surgery." There were no incisions, but because the procedure was in the operating room the nurses kept saying surgery and now Kate calls it surgery too! Everything went well. The bone wasn't totally broken apart, as far as I understand, but it is now. The Dr. lined up her foot and knee so it will heal straight. Kate did a great job. She wasn't scared at all. In fact, she was pretty excited and goofy while we waited. This girl was ready to get her cast! She wanted any color cast BUT pink. (Where did my girly girl go?) So she chose green. It's really pretty actually! She has not had a lot of pain, but we are keeping the Tylenol flowing as often as we can give it to her. We are praying her night goes well, and she gets some much needed rest! Praise the Lord for a good day at the hospital. We know people were praying for her--it was very obvious to both Kipp and I.

I'm so glad it went well and the cast is finally on! She told me the green is so when she's playing outside and falls down and gets grass stains, she won't even notice it on the leg with the cast on :) So good news - you'll have one leg less of laundry!! I absolutely love your girls - they make me smile all the time! Now about those babies....praying they come soon!

I'm so glad that part is over! :) Green is great... I think you might have a bit of a pink overload soon anyway. :) You are almost at 38 weeks? You are a phenominal gestator (sp?)!! Can't wait to hear they're here!
